On Display NOW at FRAME IT

Check it out! Look at what the ladies at "Frame It" did for me! Nancy Hallowell is the owner of Frame It ... the favorite custom framing shop in Littleton, Colorado. They do such exceptional and creative work.

In this first photo Nancy is holding a Hanky Dress that I made from a bride's wedding hanky. I gave her the dress and she worked her magic. And, what magic it was! The frame catches just the right amount of light and accents the style of and the lace in the hanky so perfectly. The glass she used was so amazingly clear that I had to touch it to see if there was any glass there. You probably can't see it in the photo, but the small Swarovski crystals I put on this dress sparkle beautifully through this glass. You'll just have to stop by the shop to see for yourself what I am talking about.

I knew she was working on one of my wedding dresses. But I had no idea of what she was up to beyond that. She totally surprised me by framing my feature in the current edition of Flea Market Style Magazine. I was so surprised and am still a little numb. What a thoughtful act of kindness. Thank you, so much, Nancy!

Zoom in and get a good look at that whimsical framing she chose. I just love, love, love it!

If you do not already know these wonderful people, I hope you will stop by and check out what they do. Frame It is located in the Broadridge Shopping Center at the corner of Broadway and Ridge Road. They have been in business here in Littleton, Colorado since 1979. Visit their website at http://www.frameitcolorado.com

Halloween Offerings at the Paris Street Market

Look at the fun things I found for Fall and Halloween at the Paris Street Market

There is Jeanne peaking through from behind her Fall decorated buckets and watering cans. Aren't they simply fantastic!

Her business name is:   The Woodcutter's Wife

She does custom art and hand painted furniture.

Below you can see some of her reverse intaglio painting on antique window panes; as well as some other charmers.

Then I found these spectacular antique cans...ready to light up the night this Halloween season. They are the clever creation of Carol Konz the owner of CK Designs.
Her can pumpkins are also available at the Mainstreet General Store and at This And That
 in Castle Rock, Colorado.

This spooky screen door was the creation of Laura Gabriel of Vintage Magpie Designs, Littleton, Colorado.

What a wonderful decoration for your front porch or back patio !!!

I just love it !

September Finds at the Paris Street Market

Meet Lorraine, proprietor of Lorraine's Basket. She comes down to the Paris Market each month from Fort Collins. She is just the sweetest lady and one of my sources for vintage handkerchiefs. All her linens are so perfectly prepared for the market...so pretty, clean and fresh, and lovingly pressed.

This is the front of Lorraine's booth. She had some wonderful pieces of painted furniture.

That patio grouping with the lovely yellow mums was so pretty.

This charming piece of folk art was offered by Bonnie. She is a regular at the Paris Market; and she also sells items at the French Corner vintage shop in Eaton, Colorado.

What a fantastic idea for a wall shelf !!!

This table and chairs sold fast out the Pine Needle Creek booth. Sonia's booth is always a good place to start if you're looking for that special piece of furniture to spruce up your home.

Doesn't everybody need a
wild turkey
on a
bed spring???

Just resting with my BFF !!!

Next Post - I'll show you all the great Halloween stuff I saw at the market.
